Richard Trapunski is a freelance writer born and raised in Toronto. A distaste for the Canada's hegemonic coverage of post-Broken Social Scene indie rock has led him to the city's submerged psych and garage scene, where he's spent many nights in beer-soaked dive bars and semi-legal gallery parties and called it work. In addition to covering music for NOW since early 2010, he has also written about entertainment, culture and dining trends for publications such as the Globe & Mail, Spinner, AUX TV and Resonancity.com.
