USE NOW’S BEST OF TORONTO TO EXPLORE YOUR CITY
Try out new places, go to different parks, discover that all-night Korean BBQ next to your work. Or share your local favourites with fellow readers.
HERE’S HOW IT WORKSNeighbourhoods
Toronto is a city of pizza slices. There’s a place to grab a hot slice in every single neighbourhood.
It’s also a city of craft beers, blue jeans, gay bars, rep cinemas and Ethiopian restaurants.
Because it’s a city of so many things, NOW’s Best Of Toronto is split into neighbourhoods. So instead of voting for the best pizza slice in the city, vote for the best pizza slice in Parkdale. Instead of voting for the best all-you-can-eat buffet in Toronto, vote for the best all-you-can-eat buffet in Scarborough. And so on.
Click through to the Neighbourhood sections to find the best of your neighbourhood.
CategoriesThis site is a resource for sniffing out the best of wherever you are, but it can also deliver whatever you want. Search by category to find what you’re craving. Our location-aware map will tell you which neighbourhood you should be heading to.
VotingJust like before, our new Best Of will rely on you, the reader, to tell us your favourites.
And feel free to disagree. Vote down the places you don’t like, vote up the places you do. Suggest new spots for fellow readers to dig into.
If you think your neighbourhood restaurant is a slept-on masterpiece, your local video store is under-appreciated or the coffee at the end of your street is an unheralded find, this is a way to let the rest of the city know about it. If you don’t see it on this site, help us by telling us about it.
Toronto WinnersObviously, some of Toronto’s treasures can’t be found on a map. Best Actor, Best Website, Best TV Personality – these are not location-specific, so they’ll be in the global category, called, naturally, TORONTO.
