Poutini’s House Of Poutine

1112 Queen West, at Beaconsfield, poutini.com

It’s a simple late-night equation – fries ’n’ gravy plus cheese – but few get it right. Forget the foie gras, this west-side start-up sticks to tradition: hand-cut spuds twice fried in trans-fat-free oil swirled with house-made beef or veggie gravy and cheese curds straight from the farm that squeak like rubber ducks.
