Fashion Week profile: Hot Lights
Organizers of WomenXWomen hit up Fashion Week

The Advocates, organizers of the inaugural WOMEN X WOMEN, changed things up this year by putting together a new initiative to feature fashion photography at LG Fashion Week.

Hot Lights was a "media and industry event to celebrate a limited edition book of the same name, featuring photography by and the inspirations of the HOT LIGHTS photographers". The Advocates are billing the six featured photographers as the “hottest rising stars in Canadian fashion photography,” each of whom are bringing big energy and their own unique visions to their work.

I caught up with Alice Keith, Kate Mullin, and Angela Young before the event to learn more about The Advocates, what's motivating them and what's next.

Check out the panel discussion hosted by Canadian model Stacie McKenzie, and watch for interviews with Caitlin Cronenberg, Francisco Garcia and more of the featured photographers.
