Alex Gibney’s look at the pervasive corruption that helped hobble the Republican party in the last decade – all of which went back in some way to master influence-peddler Jack Abram off, who pled guilty to multiple felo nies in 2006 – will only be shocking if you still believe politicians are decent, upstanding folk who would never dare sell their votes to corporate or indivi dual interests. Those of us who actually follow the news will be happy to see this handy summary of the scandal.

Tickets and pass prices

Individual tickets: $12
Late-night screenings (after 11 pm) $5. Buy tickets online, by phone or in person; pick them up at the Documentary Box Office or at the screening venue's box office on the day of the screening.
Festival Pass: $98
10 tickets for any screening (subject to availability) and one free ticket to each late-night screening.
Premium Pass: $180 (or two for $300)
A non-transferable pass that entitles the holder to one ticket to each screening, excluding those running concurrently. Premium Pass holders

must obtain their ticket at the screening venue's box office on the day of the screening. A reserved block of tickets will be held for pass holders (subject to availability). Premium Pass holders will also receive a Hot Docs enviro bag.

All-You-Can-Eat Late-Night Pass: $10 A pass that lets you see all screenings starting after 11 pm. Tickets at the Documentary Box Office or screening venue's box office on day of screening.
Free Screenings Hot Docs is pleased to offer free daytime screenings (before 6 pm) for seniors and students. Tickets for free daytime screenings must be obtained at the screening venue on the day of the screening (subject to availability).
Same-Day and Rush Tickets On the day of the screening, tickets are available at the venue's box office starting one hour before the first screening of the day. For screenings that have sold out in advance, a limited number of rush tickets may be available at the screening venue's box office 10 minutes before showtime.
