It was fashion night at TIFF on Sunday as Fashion Television hosted Canada’s favourite designing duo (sorry Steven and Chris) DSquared2’s Dean and Dan Caten at the CTV building. Last year’s Valentino show was a good first try of the fashion-tainment party format but this year’s event was a spectacular bash celebrating two of our own.

What would Hollywood be without its hot couples? The lack of baby bumps, who’s-dating-who speculation and amalgamated star names (Brangelina, etc.) would certainly make flipping through a celebrity rag way less juicy.

“Excuse me. We came here to see some Diddy,” snarked one confused party guest at eTalk’s massive Festival Party as co-hosts Ben Mulroney and Tanya Kim repeatedly introduced the headlining hip hopper only to have dead silence and screens of colour bars appear in his place.
