Exchange rates
Whether you’re just looking, or looking to make a buck, grab your old junk or new material and participate in the Design Exchange Garage Sale on Saturday, August 21. Booths are an ample 10-by-10 feet and include an 8-foot folding table and chair for $40. Set-up starts at 7 am, and the sale runs from 9 am to 3 pm. The public will be charged $5, which includes entrance to the Canada House exhibit, to raise money for DX programs. 234 Bay. Bravo! Goodchild
If you’re a fan of local it-girl artist and costume designer Heather Goodchild – like I obviously am – you’ll be stoked to hear that A Tale Of Bad Luck , a Bravo! FACT-funded short, will be screened at the Toronto International Film Festival. Goodchild constructed the star characters – a handmade teddy bear and china doll – so beautifully you’ll want to cry. Also includes Royal City soundtrack and inspiring moody visuals.   the end
