Toronto women's hockey (Moss Park Arena, 140 Sherbourne, Saturday nights)
Forget the trendy night spots. Moss Park Arena is where real women hang out - chicks with sticks who play in the Toronto Women's Hockey League, which boasts 14 mostly gay women-only hockey teams. Lovers, ex-girlfriends and sly "hey-check-her-out" single women look on. It's during the moments just before and after the games when the mingling happens - the sweaty player who's just finished her game bumps into the suddenly single skater just heading onto the ice. But she's got her eye on the woman who sits on the corner bench. OK, so it's not quite that exciting, but you see what we mean. Oh yeah, the hockey's pretty good, too.
