Patrons' Picks - July 10, 2004

The audiences have spoken. This year's Patrons' Picks -- the most popular shows at each regular venue, based on ticket sales for the first four performances of the festival -- have been chosen.

Each of the chosen companies gets an extra Sunday-night performance, and a chance to bring in more box-office revenue.

Here's the list :

St. Vladimir's Theatre - Jem Rolls - 8:30 pm

Robert Gill Theatre - Cactus - 8 pm

Artword Theatre - The Divine Heretic - 8:30 pm

Factory Mainspace - The Blood Of A Coward - 8:30 pm

Factory Studio - GBS - 8 pm

Tarragon Mainspace - Sleepless: A New Musical - 8:30 pm

Tarragon Extra Space - Stealing Freedom - 9 pm

Royal St. George Theatre - Chandeleirva - 8:30 pm

Poor Alex - Dickwhipped: The Kristeen And Laurie Story - 8 pm

Helen Gardiner Phelan Playhouse - One Man Lord of The Rings - 8:30 pm

Advance tickets -- 75% of the house -- are now on sale for these shows, through the usual channels. The remaining tickets are on sale at the venues an hour before show time.
