LAUGH LINES

GLENN SUMI

Here are some more terrific local comic talents making noise at this year's Fringe.

TRISH COOPER
Fiery-haired member of underrated sketch troupe the Royal Liechtenstein Company joins Vanessa Macrae in their already acclaimed comedy The Year Of The Panda , a Seinfeldian look at judgment.

PAUL BATES and LEE SMART
Two of the cleverest Second City alumni hone their best alien voices to play evil extraterrestrials attempting to take over Earth in Overlords!

THE SKETCHERSONS
The tireless 11-member sketch troupe hit their stride with a pair of late Sunday-night shows. And check out their guests – none other than white reggae star Snow and former Kid in the Hall Scott Thompson .

RYAN GLADSTONE and BRUCE HORAK
Two of the creator/performers of last season's funny-scary Macbeth send up all the Fringe clichés in Fringe Show: A Love Story .

LISA LAMBERT and JONATHAN CROMBIE
The writers and performers in Ouch My Toe are no strangers to funny – their credits include sketch troupe Skippy's Rangers and that little Fringe show that grew, The Drowsy Chaperone.

THE RUMOLI BROTHERS
Back for their third year, the harmonizing retro brothers (aka Kurt and Brandon Firla ) host the free nightly Late Night @ The Fringe talk show with some of the city's best opening comics ( Nikki Payne , Elvira Kurt , Daryn Jones ) and lots of Fringe previews.
